Miami was well represented at the tenth anniversary of Tales of the Cocktail. This five-day long celebration of spirits brings the world's best bartenders together -- all shaking their stuff in New Orleans' French Quarter.

Short Order was in the house and we were pleased to meet up with some familiar faces and catch up with what they're doing (and where they're going).

We're hoping these talented mixologists brought back some ideas for new and interesting recipes, and we even gathered a little intel on Miami's drinking scene. (Hint: One of your favorite pop-up bars might just be reappearing sometime soon.) Click through for some photo highlights.

Miami brand ambassador Paul Sevigny mixes up a spiced DiSaronno daiquiri and a Jalisco Cafe cocktail at the Guilty Pleasures party.

Camille Austin makes a giant margarita in an ice punchbowl at one of the opening night parties. Though Camille has relocated to the New York Hakkasan from the Miami Beach location, she'll always be a "local" in our hearts and taste buds.

Julio Cabrera, formerly of Sra. Martinez, shakes up a Maduro at the Bacardi 150th Anniversary Hand-Shaken Daiquiri Competition.

Juan Cabrera's Maduro.

Bar Lab's Elad Zvi and Gabriel Orta mix up a Tia Colada and DiSaronno Peach Daisy at the Guilty Pleasures party. We got a little intel from the dynamic duo of cocktails (hint: watch for The Broken Shaker to return to Miami sometime in the fall).

Daniel Toral, formerly of Sustain, enjoys a cocktail at the Blackwell Rum pool party.

Robert Montero, formerly of Sra. Martinez, defends his title at the Marie Brizard Cocktail Mix-Off. If you're jonesing for one of Montero's cocktails, you need only wait a little more. We were told that he's joining the mixology team at Yardbird Southern Table & Bar.

Montero's Sunny Crusta wins.

Robert Burr, rum expert and director of the annual Rum Renaissance Festival, plays dominoes at the Bacardi 150th Anniversary Hand-Shaken Daiquiri Competition.
