The 17-year-old reality-TV star hit the red carpet for the opening of the store and café known for its over-the-top desserts and candy-themed cocktails. Jenner took selfies with fans before exploring the shop and posing with one of her custom Couture Pops — celebrity-driven lollipops that start at $25 and come with crystal-studded cases.
The teenage Jenner channeled half-sister Kim Kardashian and looked well beyond her years in a lowcut black dress, which prompted speculation on social media about whether the still-underaged starlet had undergone plastic surgery. Jenner took to Snapchat to reveal her secret: lots of tape.
Sugar Factory's 5,000-square-foot brasserie and retail store at the Victor includes a 201-seat dining room and two patios overlooking Ocean Drive. The restaurant specializes in comfort-food classics such as mac 'n' cheese pops ($11), a pizza burger ($16), steak-frites, and sandwiches.
With a name like Sugar Factory, it's a sure bet customers will come for the decadent desserts. Chocolate fondues range from $25 for a basic serving for two to a $1,000 version that features gold-dusted strawberries and gummy bears for dipping, accompanied by a bottle of 2002 Dom Pérignon for sipping. The restaurant's famed King Kong sundae ($99) includes 24 scoops of ice cream.
A second Sugar Factory location is planned for Lincoln Road.
