Redbar, the mixed-use cocktail lounge, gallery space in Brickell, is celebrating a relaunch.
The bar, henceforth known as Redbar Drink Company, has gotten a retro facelift. Decked out in a New-Orleans-meets-Chicago-speakeasy style, the space features vintage furnishings with rich sepia and burgundy hues.
What's also notable about the new-and-improved Redbar Drink Company is their crafted cocktail program. Antar Sosa and Dobomir Dimitrov, who have successfully worked on Barezzito and the Shore Club, have curated some of Miami's best cocktail experts to create a collection of specialty drinks.
Among the cocktails are the Watermelon Blossom, a mix of watermelon juice, lemon juice, Atlantico rum, and simple syrup, created by Broken Shaker's Elad Zvi, and the BlackBerry Sage Smash, a blend of freshly muddled blackberries, lime juice, Spring 44 gin, ginger liqueur, sage leaves, and ginger.
In addition to cocktails, Redbar will serve local beers, including Florida Lager and Big Rod, and will host daily happy hours and social media-drive scavenger hunts with bar tabs as prizes.
Tonight is the official re-opening, with cocktails courtesy of Finlandia vodka, Heineken, and Piper-Heidsieck. The party starts at 5 p.m.
Redbar is open Monday - Thursday from 5 p.m. - 3 a.m.; Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. - 5 a.m. Daily happy hours are from 5 - 8 p.m.
