With just six days left until the American public elects the 45th President of the United States, Latinos for Obama surrogate Marc Anthony is back on the campaign trail rallying the Spanish-speaking troops to re-elect POTUS.

Scheduled to appear at an event later this evening with First Lady Michelle Obama at the James L. Knight Center, Anthony wants to remind voters que estamos unidos -- as both human beings and Americans exercising our democratic right to vote.

And if you're still on the fence about which candidate to support, Anthony totally thinks you should vote Obama on November 6.

Here're a few reasons why.

Civic Duty

In a Latinos for Obama ad, Anthony declares, "Latinos are a force that can, and will, help decide this election."

So forget all that talk about Florida's I-4 corridor and Ohio swinging the election, La Raza decides this one. If your name ends with the letter Z, like mine, get your ass to a voting booth ASAP, amigo.

Jobs, Economy and Education

Are we better off today than we were four years ago? Anthony thinks so.

The country's unemployment rate is declining and private sector jobs have seen steady growth over the past two years.

As for education, Obama's 2009 stimulus increased the federal Pell Grant for students by about $1,000 per semester and he's also changed the way that Stafford Loans are processed, according to the Columbia Spectator.

$40,000-a-Plate Dinners

In June,Marc Anthony held a private fundraiser for Barack Obama at the Miami home of Abigail and F.J. Pollak, where the cheapest admission price was 40,000 pesos. Meanwhile, co-sponsors of the three-course dinner paid upwards of $75,000 just to pick at the President's plate of "Key Lime Diver Scallop over Black Bean Orzo Risotto" and indulge in some "Dark Rum Chorizo Pecan Ice Cream."

Nobody in their right mind would ask friends to dish out that kind of cheddar to back some D-bag politician. Anthony truly believes in Barack Obama.

But he also knows full well that if POTUS isn't re-elected, it's your fault for not going to the polls.

Go vote.
