Remember when indie-dance parties were low-key affairs? Cheap drinks, lax door policy, and great music? Luckily for us, there are people out there looking to bring that back. Nightdrive started out at the New Lounge, but never seem to gain the popularity it deserved. Here was a Thursday night party that was really a no-frills affair. The sponsors even managed to snag guest spots by CLP and Fluokids during WMC, which turned out to be its final night at News Lounge before calling it quits.

Or so we thought. The party will reemerge this Thursday at the American Legion (6445 NE 7th Ave., Miami). Pretty odd choice of venue to host a party, but drinks are probably some of the cheapest in all of Miami-Dade. In fact the night promises $2 drafts, $6 pitchers and $3.50 wells. If that isn't reason enough, Mike Deuce (Vagabond Fridays/Poplife), Jonathan Brody and DJPJ will be manning the decks.

Party goes from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. every Thursday night. Check out one of the best video invites we've ever seen above for all the details. For more information visit myspace.com/nightdrivemoroders.
