Miami's winter self-denial quickly evaporated this weekend when we all got hit by a vengeful cold front, and with hot sunny days by the pool or beach now increasingly out of the question, there's nothing left to do but dance to keep the blood flowing. The Electric Pickle's cozy upstairs room lends itself perfectly to some sweaty heat-inducing bodywork, especially on Friday nights when the hypnotic and relentless four-on-the-floor minimal beats reign supreme.

This Friday brings the deep and driving sounds of Berlin-based DJ/producer Daniel Dreier, supported by LINK resident DJs Joaquin and Maurizio & Danyelino. Dreier has garnered increasing recognition in the last few years with residencies at both Watergate and Panorama Bar, two of the most pivotal venues in Berlin's underground dance scene, along with collaborative production work with the likes of Tom Clark and Lee Jones (MyMy). An afterhours specialist with a cheerful and upbeat nature that shines through in the unpretentious yet compelling quality of his music selections, Daniel Dreier should provide for a night of warm and intimate carousing to make you forget the cold.
