Winemaker's Table Dinner at Estiatorio Milos. This Monday's edition will offer a six-course menu of local seafood paired with Greek wines. Islas Canarias
Preorders Begin for Islas Canarias' Heart-Shaped Croqueta Box. Valentine's Day is coming. Instead of sending a box of chocolates to your sweetheart, show your love in the most Miami way possible, with a colossal heart of croquetas. Islas Canarias' is offering a red heart-shaped box, labeled "I love you like a Cuban loves croquetas," filled with the fried golden morsels. North Italia Opens in Brickell. Nearly a year after North Italia announced its first Florida restaurant, the 8,600-square-foot location is open in Mary Brickell Village, churning out grilled cauliflower and prosciutto pizza and pouring beer from local breweries. Miami-specific items range from wagyu skirt steak with butternut squash and salsa verde to the One More Mambo cocktail, made with spiced rum, pineapple, and lime. Local beers include Biscayne Bay's Kaptain Kolsch, Concrete Beach's Havana Lager, Wynwood Brewing's IPA, and J. Wakefield's El Jefe. Mary Brickell Village, 900 S. Veritage Miami Craft Beer Tasting at Wynwood Walls
. Veritage Miami's annual craft beer tasting returns Thursday for an evening of local food and beer. Expect bites from Kyu, R House, Wynwood Kitchen & Bar, and Red the Steakhouse, alongside suds from Concrete Beach, MIA Beer, LauderAle, Veza Sur, and more than a dozen others. Money raised will benefit the United Way, improving the health, education, and well-being of fellow Miamians. 6 p.m. Thursday, February 7, at Wynwood Walls, 2520 NW Second Ave., Miami; veritagemiami.com. Mix, Mingle, and Match at Brickell City Centre. Thursday, Bumble and La Centrale will host a pre-Valentine's Day event complete with Italian food and drink.
