A Fall Harvest Festival Is Coming to Miami

You can pretend we have seasons at this two-month celebration in the Redlands.

Although autumn technically starts on September 22, in a city without seasons, we pretty much round up after Labor Day.

The Berry Farm, the nearly 50-acre farm in the Redlands, is starting its festivities early this year, too. Beginning Tuesday, September 16, the property will host its Sixth Annual Harvest Festival, which runs through Sunday, November 9.

The property welcomes visitors year-round for field trips and group or family events, with attractions including obstacle courses, hayrides, and play areas. It also hosts a Winter Festival in November, a Strawberry Festival in January, and a Flower Festival in March.

Next month's Fall Harvest Festival features those same attractions, and then some. Among its special offerings are a five-acre corn maze, a pumpkin patch, BBQ and vendor markets, and music on select weekends. There will also be plenty of photo ops for fall-themed photoshoots.

"From massive sunflower fields to moonlit dancing, the Harvest Festival is where Miami comes to experience fall in a way only the Berry Farm can deliver," owner Karl Wiegandt said in a statement announcing this year's lineup.

Beyond its fall festival activities, Berry Farm will also stay open late, through 9 p.m., on October 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19, 24, and 26 to take advantage of the cooler weather we're all collectively manifesting.
