If at first you don't succeed, try again. Cantina Beach at the Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne reopened its freshly refurbished doors on November 15 after a kitchen fire caused its closure over the summer.

"The new Cantina Beach offers innovative menu additions with daily special's I have created based on culinary regions of Mexico, sophisticated yet, casually chic decor under a cavernous thatched roof, all with the Atlantic Ocean as the perfect backdrop," says Chef de Cuisine Andres Parlange

The menu includes everything you need to pair with your Patron including queso fundido with melted Chihuahua cheese splashed with spiced chorizo and served with mini corn tortillas ($12) and the pork rib carnitas with cactus salad and salsa verde ($18) And, don't forget the guacamole.

We can thank the Miccosukee Tribe of Indians for the atmosphere of tiki torches, fire pit and espresso furnishings, while the oceanfront is just the salty icing on the cake.
