58. Country Beef Stew at Jimmy'z Kitchen
The new Jimmy'z Kitchen Wynwood is bigger and brighter than the SoBe original, and the menu has expanded as well. Chef Jimmy Carey makes a mother mofongo, but we also love the beef stew -- tender morsels of meat simmered with potatoes, carrots, and celery.
It tastes like mama's home cooking, and basmati rice comes on the plate too. The ticket to ride is just $9.50. There is a wonderfully wide array of soft drinks, import beers, and wines to go along. We're confident you'll like the stew and that you'll be glad you visited the new Jimmy'z too.

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
