A few months ago, we brought you our top picks for creative dating. And there seem to be a lot of single creatives looking for the perfect, off-beat place. So we thought that we'd do you this small service and give you even more places to get your creative date on. Dating in Miami can be hard, particularly if the club or gym aren't your scene. Here's a little help for you hopeless romantics who are looking for something slightly off-beat, or at least looking for a (semi) sober conversation. Good luck: It's rough out there.
Sweat Records
A staple arts locale that is a perfect spot to visit on a date with someone that appreciates music is Sweat Records. The spot is known for its local music and arts scene and there's always something going on, from a movie screening to live music performances. The music collection ranges from jazz to indie, pop-punk and experimental. There's even classic records for $1. And you can check out the records before purchasing on a vinyl record-listening station. In addition to the records, there's also clothing, accessories and merchandise from local artists and bands. To top off well-spent time examining the grand selection of music, Sweat has a snack bar full of tasty vegan options.

Sweat Records is located at 5505 NE Second Ave in Miami. Call 786-693-9309 or visit sweatrecordsmiami.com.

The Wolfsonian - Florida International University Museum
Make a day out of it by visiting the museum and its surrounding Art Deco area. Mixing vintage with contemporary all in one day is a hipster’s dream.
