WTF, beat freaks?!
Ultra Music Festival 2014's early-bird tickets were scheduled to go on sale yesterday at 1 p.m. EST. But as usual, the "overwhelming demand" proved to be too much for the "ticketing company's servers."
And thus began the now-annual backlash against Ultra and its alleged "rip-off" tactics.
UPDATE #3 We here at Crossfade have got an idea for Ultra organizers: It's time for ticket layaway.

Promising "a new level, a new experience" for only $149.95, Ultra blasted out the ticket-purchasing link just before the planned 1 p.m. sale time.
Promptly, though, fans like Shelby Anne Swain began bitching that "THIS LINK FUCKING SUCKS. IVE BEEN TRYING FOR 15 MINUTUES OFF 5 DIFFERENT COMPUTERS."
"Worst ticketing experience ever," disgruntled raver Julia Browne complained. "Absolute hole."
Meanwhile, an exasperated Sam Liebergot (and seven hundred others like him) shouted, "OVER THIS SHIT."
In response to the ticket sale fail, UMF offered some thanks, an apology, an explanation, and a second 4:30 p.m. purchasing time:
Ultra Music Festival would like to thank all of our fans for their incredible support and response to our offering of Early Bird tickets earlier today at 1pm EDT. We apologize to those of you were not able to complete their purchases due to the overwhelming demand placed on the ticketing company's servers. To show our gratitude for your continued patience, a new allotment of Early Bird tickets for Ultra Miami 2014 will be offered for sale today at 4:30pm EDT with GA and VIP Advance and Regular tickets sold thereafter.
We look forward to seeing you all at Ultra Miami 2014.
Unfortunately, the extra round of early-birds did nothing to appease the ravers. Especially since all of those much-promised $149.95 tix already seemed to be sold out. And so, another 2,000 complaints flooded Ultra's Facebook page.
"Early bird tkts is a bigggg bullshit !!!" Ricardo Soyer lashed out. "I tried since the first minute !! Never got it!! Now 399 u can buy easy !!! Come on !!!!"
Even as the fans gave up the chase for tickets, the angry denunciations of UMF, accusations of scammery, and bitching about exorbitant general-admission prices didn't die down.
"Now your servers work perfect. and the ticket price hike as well," an incredulous Jimmy James scoffed. "Too bad. im done with you thieves. not more ultra....dont need to be deceived this way."
The angry ravers' collective message was simple, as summed up by Alejandro Ruano: "$500 with the fees and delivery!? That's beyond ridiculous. You guys are gonna lose sooooo many partygoers."
