mom likes simple good food, like tacos from a truck, but you want to
show her how successful your internet company is, the Edge Steak and
Bar’s interactive Mother’s Day Brunch is for you. In addition to the
usual offerings like eggs, waffles, and desserts, mom can eat
from food stations disguised as street food vendors. Viva la Mexico

veranda and the ballroom of the visitor center, the tea is served on
fine china and includes scones, mini tea sandwiches, cookies, and petit
fours. Tea service begins at 3 p.m. and is $27 for members, $37 for

lobster eggs benedict ($16), housemade quinoa waffles ($10), and a
special Mother’s day cocktail with Shocho, orange, and guava ($11).

wind up dancing together, you can always blame it on the bossa nova.
Brunch and live music from noon – 3 p.m.
Cafe Prima Pasta
For the frugal mom.
If
you grew up in a household where mom yelled out the window as a means
of communication and saved every dime for your college education, take
her to Prima Pasta for a traditional Italian Sunday supper. Mom can
feast on shrimp risotto ($28), porcini ravioli ($24), and lobster
linguini ($38.95). Free-flowing champagne and roses will make mom feel
special. And when she yaps about how much money you’ve spent on her,
you can tell her that from 4 – 6 p.m. all regular menu items are
half-priced. She’ll be proud of her little baby.
Serendipity 3
For the mom who never grew up.
Mom’s
a kid at heart, so take her to Serendipity 3 this Mother’s Day where
she can indulge in some whimsical delights like birthday cake martinis
and a special Mom-Mosa made with carrot juice and champagne before
digging into a giant ice cream sundae. Finish off this sweet brunch with
a Frrrozen hot chocolate for two before presenting her with a Hello
Kitty watch or Winnie The Pooh sweatshirt. It’s just what she wanted!

If
your mom’s kinda cheesy, take her to the Melting Pot for some
fondue-side magic performed by magician Anthony Medina. Special
tableside performances are ongoing from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Blue Collar
For the blue-collar mom.
If
your mom worked hard all her life at the Shotz Brewery so you could
have a better life, then she’ll love Blue Collar, where Chef Danny
Serfer is celebrating mom in a special way — they eat free! From 11
a.m. – 3:30 p.m., mom can choose an artichoke benedict, a veggie
scramble, chorizo burrito, or anything from the veggie board. Slow
braised brisket will also be available in honor of Serfer’s own mom.
Everyone say “awwwww”!

gift. Kids under 10 eat free, so bring the grandbabies along. Call

For the cougar mom.
So
mom’s a cougar. It’s not her fault that she hit on the last five guys
you brought home…you’re just picking men that are too cute. Schlep
out the phone number of that podiatrist you’ve been meaning to call and
take mom to Nikki Beach where she can enjoy VIP bottle service,
massages, a DJ and a buffet brunch. For $42.95, mom can feast her eyes
