Father's Day 2015 Brunch Guide in Miami

He's the guy that brought you home from the hospital, spent countless hours assembling bicycles and Barbie dream houses, and loaned you countless amounts of money. He's dad and this weekend is payback for all the times he cheered your little league team or sat through your garage band's gig at the American Legion Hall.

Father's Day is this Sunday, June 21 and dad deserves a good brunch. Here are some places to take dad. And this time — it's your treat! As with all holidays, reservations are strongly suggested and prices generally do not include tax and gratuity. 

Bagatelle
Bagatelle is toasting dad with a specialty drink and dessert pairiing. The restaurant's twist on the “Rob Roy” is a Manhattan, made with with Scotch. It's then paired with a chocolate cake dessert, made with Scotch ice cream, salted popcorn, a candied bacon strip, Liquor 43 and cocoa nib crumble to top it off. This perfectly boozy pairing is $25.

Bianca at Delano
Bianca is hosting a jazz brunch buffet featuring seafood, local fruits and vegetables, cheeses, a selection of barbecue, sushi, pasta, desserts, and live music by The French Horn. There's also a large assortment of desserts including chocolate praline mousse, coconut macaroons, and bourbon-infused mini creme brulees. Wash it down with endless Veuve Champagne and Bloodys at the Belvedere Bloody Mary bar. $75 per person; served from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Father's Day.

Bistro Cassis
Take dad to this Midtown bistro and he'll be treated with his choice of three burgers, fries, and unlimited brewskis for $19. Choose between a burger with caramelized onions, melted brie cheese and crispy bacon; one with tomato jam, Roquefort cheese and crispy onions; or braised pork belly with sautéed mushrooms and Cabot cheddar. Beers on tap include Pilsner Urquell, Wynwood Brewing’s Magic City Pale Ale; and Biscayne Bay Saison Farmhouse Ale. The offer is good only on Father's Day.

Cleo South Beach
Celebrate dad with their Sips and Shanks deal. For $30, dad will get a lamb shank platter along with his choice of sips — a Goose Island IPA or Estrella.

Devon Seafood + Steak
Father’s Day brunch buffet will be served 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. Priced at $35 per adult and $18 per child ages 5-12 (kids under 5 are free); offerings include carving and omelet stations, fresh seafood selections, made-to-order Belgian waffles and decadent desserts.

Fresh American Bistro at Sole on the Ocean
Take dad to F.A.B.'s  all-you-can-eat brunch priced at $65 per-person that includes chilled snow crabs, Belgian waffles and made-to-order omelets, to name a few. For an extra $30 indulge in unlimited Pierre Jouet mimosas and a full Bloody Mary bar. 

Seaspice
Seaspice will host a special Father’s Day brunch menu featuring many seafood options like lobster Benedict ($28);  baked shrimp and eggs casserole ($24); oysters Rockefeller Benedict ($24); and more.

Shelborne Wyndham Grand South Beach
Treat your father to a late brunch at the Dads in Havana celebration poolside. From 3 p.m. - sunset, dads can celebrate their day with mojitos, cigars, and a live Cuban band poolside with a special Havana-inspired menu. The menu will include a pork roast cooked in a traditional caja china, a ceviche Station, platano maduros, moro rice, yuca salad, and avocado salad for $47 per person.

Tongue & Cheek
Father's Day brunch is served from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. with special caja china offerings. Dads also get extra special treatment with a complimentary beer or bourbon cocktail. 

Tuyo
Tuyo, atop the Miami Culinary Arts Institute, is hosting a special brunch for dad on Sunday from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Executive chef Victor Santos' menu includes appetizers like bacalao fish sticks with saffron aioli with a watercress and French breakfast radish salad; Caesar salad with grilled gulf shrimp; Black Angus beef carpaccio with upland cress, crispy capers and truffle aioli; and Hawaiian tuna spring roll with smoked avocado emulsion, sesame crackers and kimchee vinaigrette. Main dishes including a grilled New York steak with two sunny side up eggs and béarnaise sauce; crab cake Benedict with two lump crab cakes topped with two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce; pan-roasted American red snapper on coconut-jasmine rice; roasted organic half-chicken with smoked potato puree, crispy kale and caramelized cippolini onions, seared bigeye tuna a la plancha; and churrasco steak with roasted celeriac-sweet potato hash and black trumpet mushroom chimichurri.

Verde at PAMM
Artistic dads will appreciate a dat at Perez Art Museum, followed by a special brunch by chef Kaytlin Brakefield. Dad will enjoy the filet mignon with sunny side up eggs and crispy chimichurri potatoes, complimented by $5 micheladas and Florida craft beers. Brunch is served on Sunday from 11 a/.m. - 5 p.m.
