60. Raspberry Tart at Le Royal
There are raspberry tarts sold at every "French" bakery in town. Sometimes the filing tastes like marshmallows. Sometimes it has the texture of whipped cream. The raspberry tarts from genuine French bakery Le Royal, made by French twin brothers, are filled with a delicate custard that is creamy and just sweet enough to balance the flavor of the supple fresh fruit that crowns its head. Not covered with a thick jelly, the berries are truly the star of the tart with their tart flavor and stunning red color. This is one tart worth writing home about.
