Tampa's strip club industry may be revving up for the Republican National Convention, but for those Republican dudes who aren't exactly into the idea of seeing Sarah Palin's porno double spread eagle, don't worry, because GOProud, a gay Republican group, is hosting Homocon 2012.

And of course, as every proper homosexual knows, its not a party until Grover Norquist shows up. Wait, what?

The event will go down on August 28 at the Honey Pot nightclub in Tampa's Ybor City. Here's the list of "special guests" announced for the party:

David Keene, Former Chair of the American Conservative Union and Vice-Chair of CPAC

Grover Norquist, President of Americans for Tax Reform

Mary Matalin, author, CNN contributor and long-time GOP operative

Richard Grenell, former U.S. Spokesman at the United Nations

Amy Kremer, Chair of the Tea Party Express

Mike Flynn, Editor, Breitbart.com, BigGovernment.com

Dana Loesch, contributor to Breitbart.com, radio host and CNN contributor

Margaret Hoover, former FOX News contributor, author and current CNN contributor

Larry O'Connor, Editor of Breitbart.tv and radio host

S.E. Cupp, author and co-host of MSNBC's "The Cycle"

Will Cain, analyst for The Blaze and CNN contributor

This is not the makings of a marvelous kiki. Seriously, the top line guest is David Keene, president of the NRA. The only thing that could make this worse is tribal house remixes of Ted Nugent songs.

No Sarah Palin drag queens? No gogo boys in Abe Lincoln top hats? No spillin' the tea parties?

This is lame.

But what do you expect from people who actively support a party that works to deny them rights, and manipulates and encourages poorer voters' homophobia in order to get them vote for economic policies that actually hurt them?
