The South Florida Music Scene blog
is a digital archive of as much as you can humanly find of what has
gone on down here. There are old flyers, articles, digitized records,
videos, shit like that. Here's how the "About Me" section of the blog
reads.
"This blog is meant to document the South FloridaTheMusic Scene of the past and present as well as some bands from North
and Central Florida. All the music posted is out of print. If members
of any band posted would like to have their post taken down, please
message me and I will be happy to take it down. This blog is meant to
document a scene I have grown up with and still love so I hope you
enjoy it as much as I do. If you have something you would like to
contribute to the blog or if you have a request please, please feel
free to leave a comment and we'll post it for you."
more that people know about it, the bigger that the archive gets.
People donate their knowledge and digital versions of their physical
media as proof of the existence of something greater than all of us. I
know there's a lot of you out there with prized collections of tapes,
flyers, records, shirts, zines and what not so it is what it is.
