On "Control Myself," LL does a PG-13-rated sex thang, mimicking the flow of Tone Loc's "Wild Thing." J.Lo, meanwhile, simply (and wonderfully) coos in the background. Producer Jermaine Dupri ensures understatement by using the opening claps and arpeggiated melody of Afrika Bambaataa's "Looking for the Perfect Beat," ignoring the song's more verbose main electro freak-out. "Perfect"? Well, just about.
