Yeah, yeah, we know you're too sexy for your shirt, you luscious lubed-up gay man. In fact, you're so sexy you and your friends have commandeered South Beach and made it a super gay-man hotspot. Meanwhile, the gay ladies of Miami find themselves driving for endless hours (okay, maybe less) to Fort Lauderdale for nights of clubbing and sensual debauchery.

A long-time lesbian party architect, Bové is in her third year of hosting the official events for women at MBGP with her partner Pandora Events. This year they've put together the FLING series.
"We wanted to do something different each night to cater to different audiences," said Bové. "Girls don't go out as much as guys [down here]. But with the economy turning around, I can feel it. We're expecting 50,000 to 60,000 people at Pride this year."
On Friday, Noche Latina at The Well on 41st Street (444 W 41st Street) starts at 10 p.m. This is a Latin-themed dance party featuring DJ Pat Pat and salsa all night long. Cover is $8 before midnight. "We're having the Latin event because the Latina girls need their own party," said Bové, chuckling.
On Saturday, Score (727 Lincoln Road) hosts the MEGA Dance Event with DJ GiGi, go-go dancers, and Jessica Sutta from the Pussycat Dolls. The party starts at 10:00 p.m. and the cover is $10 before midnight. Bové said this party brings about 1,000 women each year. A thousand girls? That must be one estrogen-tastic dance floor.
The final blowout is on Sunday, during the Gay Pride Parade, at Highbar at the Dream Hotel: FLING's Wet & Wild Tea Dance. This rowdy party starts at 3 p.m. with a $5 cover before 5 p.m., and features a wet t-shirt contest because, well -- what better way to compete for cash prizes and tickets to Aqua Girl and iCandee events?
The parade starts at noon on Sunday, April 15 and runs from Fifth to 15th Street on Ocean Drive. This year, the most creative display of gay pride will be awarded a special mention in the MBGP Parade plaque at the Miami Beach visitor center.
Miami Beach mayor Matti Bower will join the LGBT community at the parade, and there will be a special float for "legacy couples": LGBT couples together for 20 years or longer. Chaz Bono, Sonny and Cher's son, will serve as the parade's grand marshal and make an appearance at FIU the next day to talk about his FTM transition.
Parking will be hell on Sunday, so get going early if you're driving. If you're coming out for the females, FLING organizer Lynn Bove advises showing up around 2:00 p.m. "All the girls are probably going to be intoxicated from our dance party on Saturday, so they won't be getting up that early."
Ambitious? Yes. That's what Pride is all about.
Pride festivities start today and continue through Monday, with FIU's
