Every Sunday throughout March, you can get $150 worth of dining credit for $25, as part of Gilt City's "Gilt City Tables" promotion. Gilt City is one of the plethora of discount sites that have sprouted up like mushrooms in the past couple of years, but this deal seems exceptional -- if you can get your hands on it.

The deals go on sale every Sunday at noon. Here's the schedule:

March 13: Scarpetta
March 20: 1500 Degrees at Eden Roc
March 27: Michael's Genuine Food & Drink

PR rep Caitlyn Carpanzano wouldn't disclose how many certificates are offered. I checked around 2 p.m. last weekend, but it was too

late. Then again, my cousin says he tried at 12:03 p.m. and it was already too late. You do need to be a member before you claim the deal, but anyone

can join.

According to Carpanzano, there are no restrictions on

use: "You would just have to coordinate with the restaurant upon


Gilt City says 100 percent of the proceeds from these deals are going to Share Our Strength's "No Kid Hungry" campaign.
