Atrio Restaurant + Wine Room
Mother's Day brunch features a massive buffet that includes eggs made to order; a prime seafood bar that includes shrimp cocktail, oysters, and sushi; seasonal salads; a quiche and bread display; cheeses; a pasta and meat station; and a dessert station. Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak is offering a special brunch menu from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enjoy a complimentary mimosa and a buffet of fresh shellfish, cured meats, artisanal cheeses, warm pastries, house-made granola, and more. Then choose an entrée from decadent selections such as foie gras French toast, Maine lobster potpie, and barbecued smoked brisket. Devon Seafood + Steak
Enjoy a special brunch buffet that includes carving and omelet stations, fresh seafood selections, made-to-order Belgian waffles, and decadent desserts. John Martin's Irish Pub
Treat Mom to an Irish brunch buffet with eggs made to order, Irish breakfast meats, traditional O'Brien potatoes, fresh fruit, and breads. Matador Terrace at the Matador Room at the Miami Beach Edition
The beautiful outdoor Matador Terrace launches its new brunch on Mother's Day with a seasonal selection. Items include huevos rancheros, poached eggs with roasted mushrooms, coconut pancakes with grapefruit and lavender maple syrup, and crunchy Mexican-spiced French toast with apples. Brunch cocktails include the bloody matador, made with Elyx vodka, basil, and tomato juice, and mimosas with fresh-squeezed orange juice. The Oceanaire Seafood Room
The Oceanaire Seafood Room at Mary Brickell Village has an affordable prix fixe for Mom. For $30 (plus tax and gratuity), she'll receive a feature cocktail, an entrée, and dessert. Entrées include jumbo lump crabcake Benedict, seafood scramble, smoked salmon Benedict, steak and eggs, and Belgian waffles. Brunch is served from noon to 4 p.m. Reservations are recommended. A special menu for Mom includes Maine lobster tartare with three grams of Tradition caviar ($26); risotto with champagne, scallops, zucchini, and ten grams of Tradition caviar ($50); and seared filet mignon wrapped in prosciutto with purple mashed potatoes ($55). The St. Regis Bal Harbour
The St. Regis offers a host of pampering for Mom, including a Mother's Day brunch from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. that includes pastries from chef Antonio Bachour and a multi-level bloody mary station. Adults are $70; kids $34. The tony resort is also offering an afternoon tea for mom on Sunday, May 10, from 2 to 5 p.m. that includes pastry selections by chef Antonio Bachour and a glass of champagne. $59 per person; reservations are required 305-993-3300.
In addition, Antonio Bachour will host a pastry class Saturday, May 9. From 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the master will conduct an intimate class of no more than a dozen people some of his secrets. $200 per person includes a signature St. Regis apron and a copy of the chef's latest book. Celebrate Mother's Day all weekend with the Cheek's Mother's Day brunch Saturday, May 9, and Sunday, May 10. From 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. both days, Moms are feted with free mimosas and other specials. Everyone gets free coffee while they enjoy brunch items like fried chicken 'n' cheddar waffles ($19), lemon ricotta pancakes ($13), and Key West pink shrimp 'n' grits ($14).
