The spot where Lulu in the Grove once served brunch to Grove regulars now houses Miami's newest Crema Gourmet location, which quietly debuted late last month.
While never drawing the long lines of Greenstreet Cafe across the street, Lulu carved out its own niche at 3105 Commodore Plaza for 13 years with popular dishes like Brussels sprouts and goat cheese croquetas and a laid-back atmosphere perfect for leisurely brunches and afternoon snacks.

A New Era for the Corner
The new location of the popular homegrown café brings Crema's signature minimalist design to the space, with white brick walls and seating both inside and out.The menu offers all-day options, including breakfast sandwiches on brioche, croissants, and açaí bowls topped with fruit. For lunch and dinner, diners can choose from options like quinoa bowls, penne pasta dishes, and sandwiches filled with prosciutto or chicken. Beyond the Illy coffee drinks and fresh-pressed juices that start the day, the spot serves wine and craft beer into the evening.

Lulu in the Grove, formerly known as Lulu, closed down after 13 years along the corner of Main Highway and Commodore Plaza in Coconut Grove.

Changes on Main Highway
The South Florida coffee chain marks its 18th location with this opening, arriving during a transformation of the Grove's dining scene. This stretch looks markedly different from 2011 when Lulu and Greenstreet kept the strip alive while CocoWalk sat half-empty.Recent months saw the closure of both Lulu and El Taquito after 15-year runs, while welcoming newcomers like Carbone Vino and Cotoletta. Crema joins longtime restaurant establishments still operating in the area, including Le Bouchon du Grove, Jaguar, and Sapore di Mare.
