Miami Restaurant Closures, Adjusted Hours For Hurricane Milton

Hurricane Milton is quickly approaching Florida, and while it is predicted to make landfall somewhere around the Tampa Bay area, the entire state is preparing for the worst. South Florida, however, seems to be spared for what is shaping up to be a devastating weather event for our neighbors.

Still, Miami residents and restaurants are setting plans in motion to prepare for potential heavy rain and flooding. Some restaurants are closing, some will stay open, but many will hold specials ahead of the storm. Whether the reason is to clear inventory so they can afford the sudden closure for what could be a couple of days, or help the local community stock up on meals and hurricane snacks, this is a good opportunity to grab some of your favorite bites or cocktails to wait out the storm.

Here is the running list of closures, restaurants remaining open, and specials ahead of the hurricane. Check back here frequently, as New Times will update this list. For those who decide to venture out this week, it's a good idea to call before heading to any establishment because weather conditions could change at any moment. Most of all, be safe and don't venture out if conditions are bad.

The restaurant is open on Wednesday, October 9.

Burgermeister
Will open both Brickell and South Beach locations on Wednesday, October 9. Their hurricane special “cheeseburger combo” includes a cheeseburger, plain fries, and a soda for $10.99 (regular price is $14.99) available Wednesday.

Carrot Express
Open on Wednesday and Thursday

Corvina
Will remain open for regular hours on Wednesday, October 9, and offer 25 percent off dine-in or takeout on Wednesday or Thursday.

Coyo Taco
All locations plan to remain open. From Wednesday, October 9 through Friday, October 11, the restaurant is doing a BOGO (buy one, get one free) of their Half Gallon Specialty Margaritas for only $35 for takeout at all locations.

Crema Gourmet
Locations will remain open and offer a buy one get one deal through their app on Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, with code "CREMALOVE."

Doma Wynwood
Will remain open as of right now, offering 50 percent off wine for sit-down diners tonight through Thursday.

Finka Table and Tap
Will remain open, but updates will be shared throughout the day as the weather changes. Chef Eileen Andrade shared that the restaurant is preparing plenty of family meals and cocktails prebatches for those who want to stock up.

Los Felix
Open for takeout on Wednesday

LT Steak & Seafood at Betsy South Beach
Plans to stay open as long as conditions remain favorable. Will serve a limited menu.

Matsuri
The restaurant is open on Wednesday, October 9.

Mayfair Grill
Will remain open as long as conditions remain favorable. The hotel will waive pet fees and offer 24-hour advance cancellation.

Michael's Genuine
Plans to stay open as long as conditions remain favorable.

Over Under
Open as usual on Wednesday with karaoke and a "Frozen Hurricane" cocktail special
