Miami's reigning number one public intellectual (and I say that with all due respect) Enrique Santos was out picketing the Shaq 24 Hour Fitness in Coconut Grove this weekend. Depending on which side of the story you believe, either he got kicked out for being a fatty in the eyes of the holy fitness gods or he got busted trying to bring in his own private trainer to the gym. So he hooks up with the National Association to Advance Fat Acceptance (a real organization, apparently) to protest the gym.

Enter Coconut Grove Grapevine's Tom Falco. The man notices literally everything that goes on in the Grove, and decided to investigate. He's a no nonsense kind of guy who's never heard of Enrique and Joe before, and his post on the matter is kind of hilarious and refreshing for its bluntness:

It is basically that the cheap ass

wants a free trainer, so he is pissed that it won't be that way now. So

rather than ask for a refund, he does this. No class.

Perhaps it should just be a discrimination thing against morons. Because that is what this DJ is.

and from the follow-up post:

One lady who was picketing told me

she was denied a job by the Port of Miami because she was fat. If you

spoke with her for one minute, you would see she was not hired because

honestly, she is stupid.
