For those looking to "shake it off" after Hurricane Milton and ahead of Taylor Swift's Eras Tour arrival in Miami, there's an event ready and waiting.

On Friday, October 11, local fitness brand Lit&Lean is hosting an Eras-themed workout for those who want a major dose of Swiftie energy while getting a fun day out with loved ones. Taking place on the stunning rooftop of the new Dua Miami, the fitness event is set to blend sweat with an all-out party vibe, offering guests a unique opportunity to get their hearts racing to some of Swift's biggest hits.

It's not just any workout event — it's an immersive, music-driven experience. Attendees will follow along with an instructor as they wear headphones blasting some of the songstress's most memorable anthems in a silent disco style. Plus, Lit&Lean is partnering with several significant sponsors, from Aerie to Little Words Project, to provide attendees of every body size with comfortable workout attire and, of course, friendship bracelets.

Lit&Lean founder Liz Lindenmeier has been turning workouts into celebrations since the pandemic when she launched the brand virtually to help people stay connected and motivated from home.

"We started virtually due to lockdown, which actually fostered a ton of creativity in the method itself and began building the Lit&Lean class culture," Lindenmeier tells New Times. "It was all about finding how to display and create a party feeling without having it happen in real life. Once that formula was clear, it was just pouring gasoline on these elements once we moved to in-person events."

Since then, Lit&Lean has grown into a full-fledged fitness movement, hosting in-person events that feel more like dance parties than traditional workout classes.

But why Taylor Swift? Is she really the artist that most would turn on during an intense gym workout? According to Lindenmeier, the decision to theme the event around the record-breaking pop star was a no-brainer.

"Taylor Swift is truly at the height of her career and has such an influential presence over our current society," she says. "It's amazing to see what a wide-ranging fan base her music has developed over her multi-era career. It's great to bring people together from one connecting point and move from there."

The Eras-themed workout is also sure to make everyone invited feel like they're living their influencer fantasies. Guests will be treated to pampering services, snacks, and exclusive gifts from sponsors like Silver Mirror, Boxed Water, Supergoop, Jukebox, and more.

For Lindenmeier, supporting female-owned and sustainable brands through these collaborations is yet another form of the Swiftie spirit manifesting itself through Lit&Lean.

"I love to work with brands that feel genuine and have a social impact. They all have a heart to their story that resonates with Lit&Lean but also with those in our amazing community. I feel connected with all of these missions and ethics, and while I recognize these qualities in them, it feels amazing to receive their support back as it validates alignment with my own brand," Lindenmeier explains.

The event's Brickell rooftop setting adds another layer to the experience, allowing participants to soak in the skyline views.

"Guests can expect a welcoming environment, quality service, and fun vibes from the moment they step foot inside," Lindenmeier says. After the workout, attendees can indulge in Silver Mirror facials, enjoy bites and sips, and leave with swag bags loaded with goodies from Lit&Lean's brand partners.

For those unable to attend, Lit&Lean also offers virtual classes through its app, giving users access to unlimited workouts for $34.99 per month. Plus, if this event sounds like any fun, interested fitness junkies and music enthusiasts alike can stay updated on future Lit&Lean plans by following the brand on Instagram or subscribing to the Lit&Lean app.

With its unique combination of fitness, community, and fun, this Taylor Swift-themed event is set to be one of the most exciting ways to work out in Miami this fall. Whether you're a Swiftie or love a good workout party, this is the place to sweat it out in style.
