Miami doesn’t do boring — and that goes for yoga, too. Sure, you can find your classic vinyasa flows and restorative yin classes across the city, but for those looking to add a little extra spice to their practice, there’s a whole world of unconventional options out there. From stretching with goats to cannabis-friendly classes, these offbeat yoga classes remind us that mindfulness doesn’t have to mean monotony.

Here are five of the wildest yoga experiences you’ll find in Miami.

420 Yoga

Club Space
34 NE 11th St., Miami
786-357-6456
instagram.com/yogiinvaders
For a yoga experience that's uniquely Miami, head to Space every Saturday at 4:20 p.m. for 420 Space Yoga. Led by Tiffany "Tifftopia" Levy, this free, cannabis-friendly class combines mindfulness, movement, and music at the world-famous nightclub. Participants are encouraged to bring their own mats, and each session features vinyasa-based flows accompanied by live DJ sets. While the class is free, it's popular and fills up quickly, so early arrival is recommended. Note that recreational cannabis use remains illegal in Florida, so attendees should be discreet and mindful of local laws.

Aerial Yoga

Break Free Movement
4203 Ponce de Leon, Ste. 200, Coral Gables

Elevate your yoga practice — literally — with Break Free Movement's aerial yoga class. The class blends traditional poses with the exhilaration of suspension, allowing practitioners to deepen stretches, improve flexibility, and experience inversions with the support of silk hammocks. Classes are beginner-friendly and offered throughout the week, with single-class drop-ins starting at $39. The studio also offers a new student special of three classes for $75, plus various membership options.

Baby Capybara Yoga

Jungle Island
1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami
305-400-7000
jungleisland.com/baby-capybara-yoga
Capybaras can get up to 150 pounds in the wild, so you won’t be doing child’s pose next to an adult in this class. Instead, Jungle Island lets you get up close and personal with baby capybaras. Handlers are onsite for the duration of the class to ensure the creatures are safe and comfortable. Don’t bring your own mat for this one — these cuties chew through objects like untrained puppies, so the park provides capy-safe straw mats instead.

Bunny Yoga

If downward dog feels a little overdone, how about a gentle flow with some cute bunnies? The Bunny Yogi is one of Miami’s most charming new wellness events, offering a yoga experience like no other. Currently at the Mint Studio, the class is a slow-flow session led by an experienced instructor, followed by playtime with bunnies from adoption service Bunny Land 305, plus protein snacks and drinks from health food restaurant Vale Food Co. You can keep your phone for photos and video, but you’ll be asked to leave all your belongings in the next room — the bunnies are known to pee and poop frequently. (Don’t worry, the Bunny Yogi handles the clean-up.)

Goat Yoga

Pinto's Farm
14890 SW 216th St., Miami
305-878-4662
pintosfarms.com
Held outdoors on select Sundays, the beginner-friendly Goat Yoga at Pinto Farms pairs a 40-minute guided flow with the playful energy of hooved friends who wander around as you hit your poses. (They might even give you a hands-on assist.) After class, snap photos and cuddle the animals. Open to ages 5 and up, tickets cost $34.99 and can be purchased online.

Puppy Yoga

Puppy Sphere
2700 N. Miami Ave., Miami
thepuppysphere.com
Looking for the ultimate serotonin boost? Puppy Yoga at Puppy Sphere in Wynwood might do the trick. A litter of adorable puppies will surround you as you try this beginner-friendly yoga flow. After class, cuddle with the pups and sip on healthy drinks like green juice and infused sparkling beverages, all in a sun-drenched, Instagram-ready studio. Classes are open to ages 16 and over (or 14 and over with supervision).
