The losers spend ninth grade playing video games, doing bong hits, and fitfully daydreaming about that pretty girl with the clean fingernails in social sciences. Meanwhile, the winners are playing football, doing the running man to mass applause, and fielding flagrantly inappropriate scholarship offers from major universities.
Needless to say, former 'Canes wide receiver Lamar Thomas is a winner. And in this clip from the Rakontur vault, he recounts: "I was born in Ocala, Florida. I moved to Gainesville to go to high school, being recruited since the ninth grade, illegally I might add, by the University of Florida."
And no, he didn't become a Gator. Lamar became a 'Cane. Why? Because Michael Irvin said so. See the cut for the clip.
