Miami Spice 2017 has a never-ending list of participating restaurants. Luckily for you, there are two months to try them all. Here are some of our favorite menu items from this year's list. They include standbys like Scarpetta and Juvia, and new favorites like Tatel and Big Easy Wine Bar & Grill. Miami Spice doesn't start until August 1, but here are some delicious food pictures to drool over in the meantime.

There are about three weeks left of Miami Spice, where more than 200 restaurants offer up discounted lunch, brunch, and dinner menus. The program, which traditionally runs from August 1 through September 30, was extended through October to help local restaurants recuperate days and even weeks of lost revenue from Hurricane Irma. Miami Spice offers a three-course lunch or brunch for $23 and dinner for $39, plus tax and tip. Before time runs out, here are some restaurants to sample before October 31 that highlight sushi, sashimi, and unique raw fish mash-ups.

While Miami Spice is a smorgasbord of multicourse deliciousness, it's also big on meat, dairy, and eggs. Veg eaters can feel left out, to say the least. Luckily, among the hundreds of participating restaurants there are plenty of options for herbivores — so they can indulge along with every other Miamian. Many of the selections below are vegetarian but can be made vegan upon request. Be sure to ask your server in advance; some spots recommend vegans order off the regular menu. Prices for Miami Spice run $23 for lunch and $39 for dinner.

Michael Schwartz's Amara at Paraiso restaurant will open sometime in November at the Paraiso Bay complex in Edgewater. The restaurant's large, 4,500-square-foot dining room, designed by Meyer Davis Studio, features indoor and outdoor seating that opens to Biscayne Bay, offering striking views.The main dining room and bar will seat 150, with an additional 70 seats on the waterfront deck.
