Well, at least he managed to keep out of trouble while he was with the 'Canes.
Indianapolis Colts running back Javarris James was arrested last night by police in Fort Myers, Fl and charged with misdemeanor charges of marijuana possession. James, the cousin of former 'Canes and Colts legend Edgerrin James, went to high school and grew up in nearby Immokalee.
"I am extremely disappointed," John Weber, Javariss James' coach at Immokalee High, told The Naples Daily News. "I would have never expected this to happen but I guess a lot of things happen."
Eh, it's just a little pot during the off-season Coach Weber. Ain't nothing to get that disappointed over.
James had a productive, though not quite outstanding, career with Miami, but was not picked in the 2010 draft. Though, he made his NFL debut this past season with the Colts and went on to score six rushing touch downs over the season.
