It's Monday, and there's a Garfield-esque attitude going around. But after a few cups of coffee and a donut or two, we'll be better able to resign ourselves to 40 more hours of workaday drudgery. In the meantime, you can get through the morning by planning your extracurricular activities for the next five days.
From free mojitos to Art Deco madness, there are plenty of free ways to fill those after-work hours. Check 'em out after the jump.
- Mojito Tuesdays at La Epoca: Free booze and live entertainment to make the work week a little more bearable.
- Eat to Heal Workshop at Doral Library: Learn how to feed your face to beat the flu and other nasty bugs.
- Drink and Draw Miami at Deli Lane: Your artistic abilities are bound to improve after downing a few drinks, so why not see what kind of masterpiece you can come up with?
- Art Deco Weekend on Ocean Drive: Pay tribute to the era of Al Capone and pastel hues with a parade, lectures, exhibits and more.

Keep Miami New Times Free... Since we started Miami New Times, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Miami, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Miami with no paywalls.
