The Miami Marlins have announced a new entertainment development project coming to LoanDepot Park (otherwise known as Marlins Park) in early 2026.

The project, which will incorporate indoor-outdoor dining and entertainment spaces, was developed in partnership with the Cordish Companies, the team behind Texas Live! (Arlington, Texas), Xfinity Live! (Philadelphia), Kansas City Live!, and Bally Sports Live! (St. Louis, Missouri). The company's Live! brand, which will now include Miami Live! at Marlins Park, encompasses casinos, hotels, and entertainment complexes.

"It is with great excitement and pride that we announce the transformation of [Marlins Park's] West Plaza with Miami Live! — a communal space reinvigorated to bring joy and excitement to our fans and neighbors with opportunities for engagement," said Bruce Sherman, Miami Marlins Chairman and Principal Owner, in a statement announcing the development project.

Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava also weighed in, adding, "Miami-Dade County is proud to be an international epicenter for sports and entertainment. Now, LoanDepot Park, the home of Marlins baseball, the World Baseball Classic, Caribbean Series, Choque de Gigantes, and so many other great events, will welcome Miami Live! — a new development for year-round entertainment." She was quick to emphasize the project is privately funded and will come "at zero cost to taxpayers."

The stadium says developers have prioritized sustainability and inclusivity in the complex's design, with features that include energy-efficient lighting and accessible pathways.

No matter how the Marlins do next year, fans might have a new reason to linger before and after games and during the off-season.
