You probably didn’t come up with square dancing, Brazilian country food (mostly made from corn), family-friendly county fair-style booths and games, and more people wearing jeans and plaid shirts than you'd think possible in a trendy bar. But that’s exactly what you’ll find at Boteco, a Brazilian bar on the Upper Eastside, this Sunday from 2 to 11 p.m. Festa Junina is part of a Brazilian holiday that celebrates country life. The party will heat up as the night wears on and a band takes the stage, so choose your partner, memorize a phrase or two of Portuguese, and drink enough caipirinhas to launch you into a new dance (forro).
