Straight from scoring a gold-plated gramophone statuette for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance at last Sunday’s 53rd Annual Grammy Awards, Hawaiian pop crooner Bruno Mars and his bouffant hairdo were pleading guilty to cocaine possession in a Las Vegas courtroom.

Back in September, the Mars man got busted in a bathroom at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino with 2.6 grams of the white stuff. His ultimate punishment: Probation, a $2000 fine, 200 hours of community service, and eight hours of drug counseling.

Luckily, he’ll avoid jail time, so long as he doesn’t powder his nose or commit any other kind of crime in the next 12 months.

To celebrate his conditional freedom, Bruno has just announced Hooligans in Wondaland, a 24-city North American tour with superhot sci-fi soul diva Janelle Monae. The freak funk roadshow will roll through the Fillmore Miami Beach on May 11.

Wondering what weirdo levels of awesomeness we’ll get from Wondaland? Well, if you missed Mars and Monae’s R&B jam sesh with B.O.B. at the Grammys, it was basically a prog-hop flash-forward that mashed together “Grenade,” “Cold War,” and “Nothin’ on You.” Expect that to the power of 11.

So, needless to say, we’re really happy these two will be hitting up the 305. But, um, does anyone else think it was a little bit of a bad idea for Bruno to schedule this stop in the cocaine capital of the freaking universe?

Let’s just hope he lays off that Miami Moon Dust. He’s too pretty for punk city.
