Big news! It's time to increase your monthly Jugofresh budget.
The fashionable South Beach shop for organic, cold-pressed juices has expanded beyond the $9 coconut waters and $11 apple-pineapple-kale-lime-ginger juices. Now, pair that kale sap with $8.50 brazil nut crumbles, made with maca and cacao. (These, apparently, heighten your mood and get your hormones revving.) Sandwiches, açaí berry bowls, and spoonfuls of super foods round off the new menu.
Did you once allocate $100 a month to your habit? Well, prepare to spend a lot more.
Frequented by yogis and raw foodists, the spot already featured some items under their "comida" menu: raw oatmeal ($6) and spoonful of medicina ($2.50) -- coconut oil, bee pollen, and coconut palm oil.
Additions include three sprouted Ezekiel bagels: peaches with cashew cream cheese ($10.50), strawberry-lemon-chia jam and housemade almond butter ($10.50), and avocado herb spread with spicy cashew sauce, sunflower sprouts, and cucumber ($11.50).
There are also bowls, which combine açaí berries with raw honey, banana, kale, and super food items like chlorella, mesquite, and something called tocotrienols.
Don't fret if the drive to South Beach is too tedious. Jugofresh's website announces six locations are coming soon: Little Haiti, Lincoln Road, South Pointe Drive, Wynwood Walls, and two spots in Coral Gables.
Six more locations to get your fix.
