On Sunday, September 3, Flaming Classics and Secret Celluloid Society secured a floating screen to the outdoor pool at UM for two, back-to-back special 35mm screenings of Disney's classic The Little Mermaid. Both shows featured wet, live drag performances beforehand by local queens Miss Toto and Persephone Von Lips as Ursula and Ariel. The Knight Foundation just named Flaming Classics as a finalist for the 2017 Knight Arts Challenge Miami.
