It's Fourth of July weekend and, while the big show is Monday, there are plenty of things to do the rest of the weekend. You can drink in your favorite superhero, go on a bacon and beer crawl, or enjoy a poolside mango-themed barbecue with a special pop-up guest, the Salty Donut.

Then, prepare to watch fireworks on Monday, July 4, as we celebrate our nation's independence

Happy birthday, America! Weekend starts now!
Supercon Cocktails
Florida Supercon returns this Friday through Monday to the Miami Beach Convention Center for a weekend of celebrities, comic books, and cosplay. Blue Moon Hotel (944 Collins Ave.) in South Beach wants you to literally drink in the whole experience with its collection of handcrafted cocktails inspired by superheroes. Each cocktail is $15, including the Iron Man (Scotch, orange juice, grenadine, and Drambuie), Captain America (blue Curacao, crème de cacao, and grenadine), the Hulk (Midori, absinthe, and Mountain Dew), God of Thunder (mead, lingonberry vodka, and berry liquor), Black Widow (Kahlua, vodka, and espresso), and Hawk Eye (Strongbow, WKD purple, and Aftershock).
Bacon and Beer Crawl
When bacon meets beer, there's sure to be fireworks. That's what the bacon and beer crawl is counting on. Dress in red, white, and blue while you scarf down local and national beers paired with bacon-y goodness from local restaurants. The crawl starts at Blue Martini in Brickell (900 S. Miami Ave.) on Saturday,  July 2, at 3:30 p.m., with attendees making various stops for beer and bacon throughout downtown Miami. The crawl costs $30 (VIP is $50) and tickets are available at eventbrite.com.
Chow down at Pizza & Burger – Michael's Backyard Kitchen
Chef Michael Mina has rolled up his sleeves for the summer, turning his Michael Mina 74 at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel into Pizza & Burger – Michael's Backyard Kitchen, a pop-up featuring casual burgers, pizzas, and salads paired with cocktails (of course). Burgers range from $17 to $22 and include a dry-aged burger topped with crispy pork belly, spicy ketchup, onions, and white cheddar; and a Cuban frita. Pizzas ($17 to $39) range from classics to pies with poached lobster. Michael’s Backyard Kitchen is open Tuesday through Sunday from 6 p.m. until midnight through Labor Day.
Boozy Bagatelle Brunch
Celebrate Independence Day early with a boozy brunch at Bagatelle Miami Beach. On July 3, break out the red, white, and blue and day drink and dance to DJ Gotta. For reservations, contact [email protected] or call 305-704-3900.
Poolside Mango Barbecue at Broken Shaker Featuring The Salty Donut
On July 3, the Broken Shaker will host a poolside mango barbecue featuring all-American classic cookout favorites paired with innovative cocktails. The party runs from 2 to 10 p.m. The best part? The Salty Donut will pop up at the Shaker, serving doughnuts and coffee. RSVP via Facebook.
