Kardashian pal, reality television personality, and restaurateur Jonathan Cheban is putting the final touches on the South Beach outpost of his Brooklyn eatery, Sushi MiKasa.

The restaurant, which was slated to open in time for Art Basel, isn't quite ready, but the Brooklyn flagship did mention that the SoBe space at the Shelborne Beach Resort should be open next weekend. The restaurant is taking reservations via phone at 305-535-3500. Sushi MiKasa features a standard upscale-sushi menu in keeping with a South Beach theme.

That doesn't mean Cheban isn't keeping busy. According to Twitter, he's

been spending lots of time with pal Kim Kardashian, sharing a Frrrozen Hot Chocolate at Seredipity 3 on Lincoln Road, dining on stone crabs,

and riding around in his Bentley before he trades it in.

We applaud Kim and Jonathan's taste in beverages. New Times named the Frrrozen Hot Chocolate one of the 100 best dishes in Miami for 2012.
