Saturday's Best Art Basel Events: Questlove, PAMM Gala, Basel Castle

So you're hungover. You're tired. Your feet are still aching from spending all week in heels, and your apartment is strewn with event flyers you don't even remember taking. There's a lot you don't remember about the past couple days, actually. You've been Basel-battered, Basel-bruised, Basel-beaten-the-fuck-up. But you know what?...

But you know what? Things could be worse. You could've dropped your life savings on a work of art that'll be valueless next year. You could've hooked up with a muralist. Hell, you could've publicly embarrassed yourself by mistaking Diddy for Kanye.

But missing out on the Art Basel experience? That's the worst fate of all. So man up, Baselites, and get back out there. You can sleep when you're dead. Or, at least, when it's Monday.

Basel Castle: The annual party returns with a DJ set by SBTRKT, Chance the Rapper, Been Trill, and Travi$ Scott. The main event goes down at Grand Central Park, and after the party there's the afterparty at Grand Central (the club).

Noon-11 p.m. Tickets cost $20-$50. Visit baselcastle.com.

"Curiosity" Swiss chalet: That random art installation floating near the Miami Marine Stadium? It's finally open to the public. You can walk right out onto the "floating iceberg" for a once-in-a-lifetime Miami experience (the wintry atmosphere), as well as a pretty sweet view of the stadium.

Saturday, noon-10 p.m. and Sunday, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Firefighter Artist: Looking for an art hero? You won't do much better than Wynwood firefighter Chris Dudot, aka "duwerks," who created a mural of the Miami skyline for the neighborhood's Fire House 2. Tonight, he takes his talents to Segafredo Brickell.

9 p.m. Visit facebook.com/iafflocal587.

Questlove: The man, the ever-present hair pic, the legend of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. He's bringing his Roots-y sounds (see what we did there?) to Mana Wynwood tonight.

Doors at 10 p.m. Tickets cost $20. Visit artbaselmanawynwood.com.

Premiere PAMM Gala: Art Basel's biggest masterpiece -- the new Perez Art Museum Miami -- is hosting this year's most exclusive party: the official PAMM opening gala. Seven hundred celebrities, art bigwigs, and very, very, very important people will crowd PAMM for drinks, dinner, dancing, and a performance by Marc Anthony. If you scored an invite to this party, you're kind of a big deal.

7-11 p.m. Visit pamm.org.

Pop-Up Mural Project: So you think you can paint? Head to KIND's public mural project in the parking lot behind Caffe Babbo and become a part of Art Basel history (at least until your work inevitably is painted over next year).

5-10 p.m. RSVP at Eventbrite.

Pop-Up Piano Concert Series: Tonight's music installment at Paraiso Bay features people you've never heard of from bands that are super famous: Foo Fighters keyboardist Rami Jaffee and Pearl Jam drummer Dave Krusen.

8-11pm. Visit popuppianomia.com.

You And I Are Love: So you made it to all the art fairs already, huh? First of all, you're a liar. Secondly, there's one more that deserves your attention: this pop-up mini art fair with 24 local artists, live painting and musical performances, and an open Sailor Jerry's bar during its first hour open.

Ticketed opening reception 7-8 p.m. Tickets cost $40. Open to the public starting at 8 p.m. for a $5 donation. Visit youandiarelove.com.
