Grillfish

In a town that values the newest, hottest, most stylish, and expensive restaurants, Grillfish offers a gill of fresh air. It's a great place to eat with the family and enjoy a gratifying meal without having to spend a fortune. One of Grillfish's best appetizers are stone crabs -- they're almost as good as those at Joe's. The Caesar salad is also a sound option with which to begin -- the romaine nice and crisp, the dressing neither too fishy nor runny. The entrée ordering system works like this: You choose which fish you'd prefer, the sauce you'd like it cooked in, and they prepare it just so -- simple and reliable. The swordfish with a caramelized onion sauce is the way to go -- light and delicious. If you're a carnivore, don't dismay -- their veal is succulent, not over-seasoned, but with enough flavor to keep your palate intrigued. Grillfish truly is a rare normal restaurant in the craziness that is SoBe.
