Coral Gables Museum

This lovely architectural gem, an ornate, coral-rock construction, stands as ground zero for the City Beautiful's cultural efforts. The Coral Gables Museum once served as the city's first court, and subsequently held multiple roles before it eventually became a museum. Today, it's complete with a 5,000 square foot plaza that hosts everything from street fairs to canine costume contests. A stone's throw from the Coral Gables Art Cinema, Books & Books and Miracle Mile, its location is ideal, and their range of historical and culturally relevant exhibits are worth an afternoon stroll.
