For those in desperate need of cheer and distraction, The Colors of Christmas offers a night of soulful song and winter cheer. This holiday concert features four superstar performers: 2003 American Idol winner Ruben Studdard, Grammy-nominated freestyle singer-songwriter Taylor Dayne, Broadway songstress Jennifer Holliday, and two-time Grammy winner Peabo Bryson. Showtime is 8 p.m. Thursday at the John S. and James L. Knight Concert Hall at the Adrienne Arsht Center (1300 Biscayne Blvd., Miami). Tickets cost $39 to $114.
