A woman walking to her car after Aventura Mall closed last night made a gruesome discovery: the body of a dead man. Now police have confirmed that the man committed suicide by jumping from the top of one mega-mall's parking garages.

The woman called 911 at around 1:10 a.m. after discovering the body lying on a road outside of the Bloomingdale's, according to NBC Miami.

The only injury the man seemed to have sustained was a laceration on his neck. After reviewing security footage, police determined that the man had jumped to his death from atop one of the large parking garages outside the Bloomingdale's on the mall's south side.

Police say the man was a white, Latin male between the ages of 20 and 25. His identity has not been released.

This isn't the first time someone has jumped to their death from the mall's parking garages. Back in 2007, 19-year-old Daniel De Jesus Cespedes jumped off a parking garage while trying to evade police. Cespedes, the former boyfriend of MySpace "celebrity" Kiki Kanibal, was being arrested for dating a 14-year-old. He tried to jump onto the top of a moving van, but hit the concrete and later died in the hospital.
