While it may look pretty, the Rock & Roll is anything but a decoration. Feast your eyes on this beauty from Moshi Moshi in South Beach. Sure, many of us are used to going out to an overpriced Beach sushi bar where you're paying for ambiance. However, this little hole in the wall on Washington Avenue offers real. good. sushi.
The Rock & Roll caught my eye the minute I read that it was made out of salmon, tempura flake and soy sheet. Then, when it was set down on the table before me, eating didn't seem right. It was so nice to look at! But as my stomach started to growl, I knew I had to dig in.
It's crispy with a little bit of a kick to it. Each piece is huge, so you have to take your time eating. Smaller rolls are often gobbled down quickly and don't fill you up.
So if you want to try some good sushi for a great price without all that flashy South Beach nonsense, Moshi Moshi is the place to go. And may I suggest the Rock & Roll to start?
