Midtown Oyster Bar is taking orders for their specialty MOB burgers. But there’s a catch: they’ll supply the raw meat, but you have to cook them.
For a limited time, the eatery is offering signature patties ready-to-go for you to grill at home on the 4th. Customers can choose between four 10-ounce patties for $26 or upgrade to the “full package” which also includes buns, toppings, condiments and MOB’s homemade ketchup for $32. Each package will include instructions on how to keep and prepare the meat for your Independence Day celebrations.

MOB’s burger fuses a blend of cut prime beef, including brisket, short rib and chuck. Executive chef Ralph Colon then flavors each patty with his handcrafted brew of seasonings incorporating paprika, lemon pepper, brown sugar, cayenne, onion and garlic powder. At the restaurant, the burger is served with Applewood smoked bacon, white American cheese, lettuce, and tomato on a potato bun with a side of their house ketchup for $15. The patties will be ready for pick up between 10 a.m. and noon on the Fourth. There is no maximum amount of patties that can be ordered, but they are only available in sets of four.
