Out with the old boobs and in with the new... chins?

According to the latest studies, chin augmentation surgery is the fastest-growing plastic surgery, with over a 71% increase in the last two years. In other words, it's surging in popularity faster than getting injected with wrinkle-reducing Botox, going under the knife for big ol' fake boobies, and fat-sucking lipsuction — combined. Suck it, lipo! (Har.)

More and more people are going under the knife than ever before for a little added assistance in keeping their chins up.The most popular age group? The 55+ crowd. Senior citizens. Looks like grandma's hip replacement isn't the only upgrade she's gotten lately.

We had no idea Hollywood chins were in such high demand. But it makes perfect sense when you think about it. Chins should be firm, and supple. Not too small, but also not too big. Perky, even. Take a look at these famous chins of the stars and you'll see what we mean.

10. Scarlett Johansson
Johansson wallowed on the Hollywood B-list in films like Ghost World — until she started showing off that spectacular chin of hers. Now, hers is one of the most talked-about chins in the business. We're pretty sure it's what keeps Woody Allen interested, anyway.

9.

Anna Nicole Smith
Though she has been dead

over five years now, Smith is still one of the first people we think of when we think, "chins." We are sure women still request her implants.

8. Katy Perry
We'd never even noticed Perry's spectacular chin until the guys in our office pointed it out. Turns out, even Sesame Street had a problem with her chin. We don't understand why.

7.

Salma Hayek
What a lucky lady. Hayek has both beautiful, smooth Mexican skin, and a killer chin to boot. Not even Frida Kahlo brows could overshadow the glory of what lies beneath them.

6.

Kim Kardashian
Although Kimmy K is better known for a feature on the other side of

her body, that perky, Armenian chin of hers is sure to be sought after. Its appeal wears off in about 72 days, though.

5. Christina Hendricks
Mad Men's very own Joan Holloway splits our list at number five. Remember when she hit the scene, making curvy women everywhere feel better about their own chins?

4. Christina Aguilera
Xtina has the hardest working chin in America. A voice like that could only come from an enormous, heaving set of ... vocal chords. Which are near her chin. Yeah.

3. Pamela Anderson
We prefer classic, Baywatch-era Pam Anderson — running down the beach in that red bathing suit, chin bobbing up and down....

2.

Coco T
Like Kim Kardashian, Nicole "Coco" Austin

is also known for her badonk, but we bet Ice-T likes her chin just

fine.

1. Jennifer Love Hewitt
Oh Jen, we love you just the way you are. We wouldn't minimize your chin at all.
