If you’ve been itching to try America’s fastest-growing sport, National Pickleball Day (August 8) is the perfect excuse to hit the courts...or finally learn what a "dink" actually is.

Whether you’re a paddle-wielding pro or a newbie to the game, Miami has more courts and options than ever, including a boom of shaded and indoor venues that make year-round play a breeze. The growing list of local pickleball venues is giving Broward—home to the 43-court masterpiece, the Fort—a run for its money.

From buzzy Wynwood hangouts to tucked-away park courts and air-conditioned indoor escapes, here are the ten best places to get your pickleball fix in the Magic City.
