Hes a graff guy, so he spends most of his time in the streets, stickering, tagging, and spraying. But now and again, Aholsniffsglue steps off the corner and into the gallery for the purposes of peddling his work. In the past, Ahols art-world activity has been limited to group shows. This month, though, Butter Gallery houses his first solo exhibition, 7.625 Fl Oz.
The contents of the show are a mystery. Just call it a perpetual work in progress. The first clue, though, is the wall of lazy, bloodless black-and-white eyes that Ahol applied to the exterior of the building. Otherwise, expect stuff like neon portraits, random tags, and floor murals.
