Hundreds of years from now, our robotic hybrid descendants will remember 2014 as the year of Frozen. This was the year of Anna, Elsa, Olaf, and Kristoff, of parents tearing out their hair at yet another listening of “Let It Go.” Anyone with young offspring has by now involuntarily memorized the entirety of Disney’s latest CG fairy tale. The kids simply cannot get enough of it. In the spirit of keeping the little ones happy, quiet, and busy, Frozen Fridays might be a holiday blessing from Walt Disney himself. Bunnie Cakes, Miami’s tastiest vegan bakery, is hosting Friday-afternoon odes to the irritatingly famous film. Attendees can meet Elsa and Anna, buy exclusive Frozen-themed cupcakes (available in vegan and gluten-free), enter a raffle, and immerse themselves in their favorite flick. Costumes are encouraged, so stock up on blue glitter and braided wigs. Frozen Fridays runs from 3 to 6 p.m. during December at Bunnie Cakes (2322 NE Second Ave., Miami). Admission is free. Call 786-268-9790 or visit facebook.com/bunniecakes.
