Sometimes the booking photos we feature on Mugshots Friday just deserve closer examination. A man arrested with his face painted like an American flag on the Fourth of July was clearly one of those times.

We've learned from a Miami Beach police report that the American hero you see here is 31-year-old Eric Oram Butkiewicz. He was arrested at LIV at the Fontainebleau Hotel after security there told police he was dealing narcotics on the premises.

According to the report, Butkiewicz told police: "I possibly have three Xanax bars in my possession."

Police allegedly discovered 13 of the pills in his front pocket. He was booked on felony possession of a controlled substance and will be arraigned August 3.

He was arrested at 4:03 a.m. July 5, so his face was clearly painted for the patriotic occasion of the previous day.

We now return to our regularly scheduled programming. God bless America.
