When thinking of the Cuban influence on Miami, its hard not to start immediately daydreaming of food. From café con leches to yucca fries and platanos, bistec de palomilla, and guava and cheese pastries, tasty treats have become staples for Cubanos and turistas alike. It makes perfect sense, then, that Miami Culinary Tours has introduced Cuba Bonita Food Tour, a three-and-a-half hour cultural and architectural excursion narrated by local foodies.
Leaving at 10 a.m. every Friday and Saturday from South Beach, the tour makes seven stops in Miami Beach, Key Biscayne, Little Havana, and Coral Gables, allowing participants to indulge in numerous Cuban specialties around the city. Seem steep? The package includes transportation, Cuban cuisine, and drinks café cubanos, fresh juice, and mojitos.
